Cala Bianca

Cala Bianca , located in the district of Cala Bianca near the city of Castellammare del Golfo (TP); is a quarry bathed by crystal clear and deep waters, bordered by white rocks (hence the origin of its name) on which free and spontaneous dwarf palms and agaves grow.
It has deep and rocky depths, rich in flora and fauna, ideal for snorkeling and diving enthusiasts.
A peculiarity of the place is the presence of some sandy stretches, which give wonderful shades of color.  Access to the sea is very simple because the bottom slopes slowly, making it accessible to children and less experienced swimmers.

It is therefore an ideal refuge to escape from the chaos of the city and immerse yourself in nature.
The contamination of man is almost absent . The area has no beaches , restaurants and other elements that could disturb the wild and silent beauty of the place.
In spring the Mediterranean scrub takes its space filling with green the whole area, and then retire in the summer , leaving a barren landscape, almost lunar.

To reach it, you need to drive through a dirt road of about 700 m , and then continue on foot for a few minutes .
Or a more convenient and fast solution , is given by the possibility of accessing the cove by sea, renting a dinghy in Castellammare de Golfo or by guided tours by fishermen or diving centers.

Cala Bianca is located within an area protected by landscape constraints.

Info : access is free, so you won’t have to pay any entrance fee.

Advice : it is advisable to reach the area with rock shoes , to enter the water more easily.
