The majestic church emerges with solemnity, imposing itself in the urban landscape thanks to its elaborate style, typical of the Sicilian Baroque that embodies the magnificence and artistic exuberance. The main façade, a refined expression of neoclassicism enriched by Baroque elements, is masterfully made of reddish stone extracted from the quarries of Sant'Ippolito, giving it a distinctive uniqueness compared to the other churches of Alcamo.

Dominating the outside, rises the splendid dome, counted among the most wonderful in Italy, which not only enriches the architectural panorama but also creates a magnificent background for the statue of Maria Assunta and the moving War Memorial, symbols of faith and historical memory that merge into one with the sacred building.

Crossing the threshold of the church, you are welcomed by an interior divided harmoniously into three naves: the central, imposing and bright, flanqueata two side naves, each a treasure of artistic and devotional works. This sacred space houses precious images and statues of the saints, silent witnesses of the deep faith of the community of Alcamo, which converges here to entrust their prayers and seek spiritual comfort. The setting, enriched by ornate details and plays of light that dance through the windows, invites the faithful and visitors to a journey of inner reflection and artistic admiration.
